This Privacy Policy explains how Singam LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use the AlignNow™ mobile application. It also describes your rights under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and provides baseline protections for users globally, including the European Union.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from the authentication provider. We do not receive your password.
We collect the content you create in the App, including:
When you use voice input for Thoughts or grocery lists, your device's built-in speech recognition service transcribes your audio. On iOS, this is Apple's Speech Framework; on Android, this is Google's Speech Recognition service. Audio may be transmitted to Apple or Google for transcription. AlignNow receives and stores only the resulting text. We do not record, access, or store the audio itself.
When you use the mileage logging feature and search for an address, your search queries are transmitted to Google's mapping services for address lookup and route distance estimation. We do not access your device GPS for background tracking. Location data is collected only when you actively enter or search for addresses within a mileage logging session.
We store the trip records you create, including start and end addresses, trip date, purpose, notes, trip type, and the distance estimate returned by Google Maps routing. Note: distances stored are routing estimates and do not represent GPS-tracked odometer data.
If you choose to upload a profile photo or avatar, we store it securely in cloud storage. You may delete your photo at any time.
We collect information about how you use the App, including feature usage patterns, session frequency, task completion events, streak data for gamification features, and your notification preferences.
We collect your device type (iOS or Android), operating system version, and App version.
Subscription and purchase information is managed by our subscription management provider. We receive your subscription status from them. Payment card data is handled directly by Apple or Google and is never transmitted to us.

Singam LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. This applies to all users, including California residents under the CCPA.

When you use AI features, your task, Thoughts, or grocery content is transmitted to our AI providers for processing. Based on each provider's standard terms at the time of this writing, data submitted through our integration is not used to train their AI models without explicit consent. We encourage you to review each provider's current policies, as these terms may change. We will update this Policy if we become aware of material changes.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Singam LLC, our users, or the public.
If Singam LLC is acquired or transfers its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via the App or email.
We retain your personal information while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 45 days, except for data we are required to retain for legal or compliance purposes.

No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
AlignNow is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account or submitted personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at alignnow.app@gmail.com. We will take prompt steps to delete that information and close the account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy. Your continued use of AlignNow after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
